Same email. Three ways to write it.
Tap a Saved Phrase, or talk it through. The email lands formatted, and the keyboard stays where it is.

Simulation with a made-up email. Typing: 38 words per minute. Voice: 150 words per minute. Tap timing is assumed, not measured.
Email: Hi Alex, Thanks for checking in. I’ll send the updated plan tonight so we can review it together before the meeting tomorrow. Best, Nick
3xIn a Stanford study, people entered text about three times faster by speaking than by typing on a phone. Your thumbs are the slow part. Stanford study: 153 vs 52 words per minute. Not a Cofactor benchmark.
The real answer waits for “when I’m at a laptop,” and it nags at you all day.
Half the idea is gone by the time the first line is typed.
Built-in dictation keeps every false start. Some cloud apps upload your audio and limit free dictation.
You shouldn’t have to pay by the word or hand over your voice to be heard.
All included free.
Mail gets a greeting and a sign-off. Messages stays casual. Change your mind mid-sentence and only the correction lands.
Your names and jargon spelled right, in the tone you pick, with word predictions on the iPhone keyboard.
Every take is saved before it’s transcribed. After a one-time language download, it works with zero bars.
So we built a keyboard that keeps your voice private and saves every take.
Four of 28 questions, from each company’s own pages.
Swipe the table sideways to see every app. The questions stay put.

Free for iPhone and Mac.
It’s a switch in Settings, and the app walks you through it.
In Messages, Mail, Slack or anywhere else you type.
Our promise to you: your audio never leaves your device, you don’t need an account, and dictation has no word cap.
Cofactor is a free voice keyboard for iPhone and a dictation app for Mac. Tap the mic in any app and talk normally. It writes clean, punctuated text, keeps only your corrections, turns spoken lists into bullets or numbered steps and adds an email greeting and sign-off. It runs on your device, works offline after a one-time language download and never sends your audio anywhere. Pro adds the Parakeet speech engine, Rewrite It for Me, search by meaning, writing rules for each app and website, voice insights and coaching, and Siri actions. You say it once, and it’s already written.
Pick an example. On the left is what the mic heard. On the right is exactly what Cofactor wrote, taken from its own test cases.
Lists come out as plain-text lines that start with “-” or “1.”, so they paste cleanly into any app.
Everything you need to talk instead of type is free, with no time limit.

TodayYou thumb out a reply at a red light. The light turns green, the guy behind you leans on his horn, and you hit send on “sounds good, see yuo at 7 ducking.” Then the blue lights show up in your mirror. Day ruined.
